The tour begins at 9:00 AM with a pick-up from your hotel, the airport, or the border. Your first stop will be Chyiyrchyk Pass, where the Fergana Valley transitions into the majestic Alay Mountains. As you continue through various villages and towns, you will witness breathtaking landscapes featuring rivers, towering mountains, and rural infrastructure. Feel free to request stops at any points of interest along the way. Next, you will stop near Uch-Tobo and Kyzyl-Alai villages to admire the vibrant, colorful mountains. Before lunch, you will cross one of the highest and most challenging passes in Kyrgyzstan—Taldyk Pass, standing at 3,500 meters. This highway is ranked among the most beautiful mountain roads in the world. After descending Taldyk Pass, you will have lunch at a local café in Sary-Tash village. In the afternoon, passing through Sary-Mogol village, you will arrive at a cozy yurt camp near Tulpar Lake, where a welcoming local family will greet you. Once settled in, you can take a walk around the large lake, situated at an altitude of 3,500 meters. In addition to the main lake, there are around 30 smaller lakes scattered throughout the area, making this location one of the most unique in all of Central Asia. Dinner and an overnight stay will be in traditional yurts. If the weather is clear, you will have the chance to witness a breathtaking night sky filled with stars.
Your day begins with breakfast in the yurt at 8:00 AM. Afterward, you will start a scenic hike to the base camp, which typically takes between 3 to 5 hours. Along the way, you may encounter wild red marmots, yaks, and alpine edelweiss flowers. As you ascend to the Onion Field at 3,800 meters, you will pass the base camp, where several campsites serve as acclimatization points for mountaineers preparing to climb Lenin Peak. Upon reaching the Onion Field, you will have time for a photo session and a picnic. This area is a meeting point for adventurers from around the world, including hikers, off-road travelers, and horseback riders. The Onion Field is also the highest accessible point in the region, offering pristine fresh air, panoramic views of surrounding glaciers, and the awe-inspiring Pamir mountain range. Standing here, you will experience an incredible sense of energy and adventure—so much so that even 90% of Kyrgyzstan’s population has never visited this place! In the afternoon, you will return to the yurt camp before starting the three-hour drive back to Osh.
